Dr. Philip Raeth is the Managing Director of Palleos, leveraging over a decade of expertise to drive innovation in the pharmaceutical industry. Since joining the company in 2011, he has held pivotal roles in Business Development, Finance, Data Management/IT, and has extensive experience in full-service clinical trials, specifically Investigator-Initiated Trials (IIT), as well as computerized software validation. Dr. Räth holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a specialization in Management Information Systems. His primary interest lies in developing digitally driven strategies to clinical trials as well as current developments in AI as well as their impact on the industry.
Chief Operating Officer
Lina Hannolainen is the Chief Operations Officer at Palleos, bringing over 18 years of extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and CRO industries. Lina is a seasoned and team-oriented executive known for her innovation, financial acumen, and general management competencies. Her extensive background in the industry, as well as leadership roles in Pfizer, Parexel, ICON, X7 Research and Novotech, closely aligns with Palleos' mission. Lina’s experience spans a comprehensive range of therapeutic areas, from Surgery and Psychiatry to Oncology and Vaccines, and includes expertise in Phase I-IV trials, post-marketing studies, and trials involving medical devices and combination products. Lina has successfully managed projects across diverse geographic locations, including EMEA, South and North America, and APAC, demonstrating her global perspective and cross-cultural management skills.
Director Statistics
Dr. Johannes Schumacher is the Director of Biostatistics at Palleos, bringing over 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector as a Senior Biostatistician and Data Scientist. Holding a Research Doctorate in Cognitive Science/Statistics, Johannes has served as the statistical lead for 10+ clinical study projects across multiple therapeutic areas. He has a proven track record in managing all biostatistics and statistical programming services, ensuring high-quality project delivery within budget. Furthermore, Johannes is actively involved in the scientific community, with numerous publications to his name and regular contributions to leading industry publications.
Director, Budget & Proposals
With a strong foundation in both linguistics and corporate management, along with professional training in financial management, Polina Shatrova has developed a dynamic career in the clinical trial industry. Beginning as a clinical trial coordinator, Polina quickly transitioned into business development within her first year in the CRO sector. Over the years, Polina has excelled in various business development roles, leveraging her diverse skill set to drive growth and innovation in the business of service provision. For the past four years, she has served as the Director of Budgets and Proposals, utilizing her extensive experience to lead precise cost estimation of clinical trials and proposal development for pharma and biotech industry.
Director Business Development, China
Wenhuan Zhang is known for her strategic approach, her ability to translate client needs into actionable solutions, and her proven ability to drive revenue growth, making her an invaluable asset to the Palleos team. Wenhuan joined Palleos as Business Development Director, bringing extensive experience in business development within the pharmaceutical industry. Based in Beijing, she is responsible for driving Palleos’s growth in China, identifying new opportunities and expanding the company’s client base. Prior to joining OCT, Wenhuan held management positions at Tigermed and Beijing Improve Quality Technology Co, where she built a strong track record of success.
Regulatory Manager
With over 16 years of experience in clinical research and 10 years in regulatory affairs, Elena has been successfully involved in a number of multicenter studies around the world. Her regulatory expertise is something that Palleos partners can rely on, especially in the dynamic situation that comes with the integration of CTIS in EU studies.
