Shaping the future of medical research

“Having founded and merged a CRO, I always wondered: Could you combine the two and create a locally rooted CRO with the inherent structures of an international organization? This has become a key to our culture at palleos.”

– Renate Walter-Kirst, President

“Joining the healthcare sector from university, you quickly realize: This industry is heavily regulated and structured. I made it my goal to innovate and bring new ideas to our customers. Eversince, innovation, based on a deep understanding of the status quo as well as future developments has become a main driver of our company.”

– Philip Räth, Vice President

The greatest hope for answers to challenges to human health in the present and the future lies in medical innovation.

Nurturing and developing medical novelty that originates from academic research institutions or established enterprises, requires special expertise. This entails the capacity to identify market opportunities while controlling development risks, to recruit financial support, to map the critical pathway toward regulatory approval and marketing authorization, and to provide end-to-end project management, while tackling the financial challenges of that journey.

To meet these challenges and to excel in serving our customers, Palleos Healthcare GmbH, together with its strategic partner Phaon scientific GmbH, has joint forces with Swiss-based Xlife Sciences AG. Xlife focusses on assisting academic inventor teams and startup companies with steering their product through the important proof-of-concept phase, toward a business case. In return, Xlife offers its investors access to life science assets in very early stages of their development, while also providing the means and expertise to ensure long-term value creation.

Together with Palleos’ long-term standing expertise in clinical research and Phaon’s deep roots in the scientific community, this strategic partnership now allows for customized services during the startup period, followed by guidance and project management through the preclinical and clinical research phase.

Through our cutting-edge project management and working with our established network of collaborators, we accelerate the journey towards overcoming public health challenges, today and tomorrow.
